GVC are providing recruitment support to a recognised Small Animal Veterinary Hospital in Hong Kong, Asia, who are actively recruiting for a Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

Seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced and supportive team to assist in providing outstanding veterinary care for small animal caseloads within this busy, yet exciting setting.

Are you seeking a new challenge in nursing with a low tax rate? An opportunity has arisen for experienced, passionate, and motivated RVNs to join the day team. The hospital staff cares for a diverse range of species, offering both first opinion and referral services for exotics. Approximately 50% of the caseload involves rabbits, terrapins, tortoises, birds, chinchillas, guinea pigs, lizards, and occasionally goats or pigs. Additionally, first opinion services for dogs and cats are provided.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, fun-loving, and possess a positive personality. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced and exotic certified veterinary team.

Facilities include dedicated wards for cats, dogs, small mammals (cold ward), and exotics (hot ward), as well as specialized units such as dog/cat ICU, exotics ICU, and isolation kennels. Advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities, including on-site CT, and a range of flexible and rigid endoscopes for various procedures are available.

Utilization of EzyVet, Cubex, and SmartFlow, an integrated management system for all patients.

Job requirements:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy hospital environment and offer surgical and anesthetic support during procedures.
• Fluency in English is required as it is the official language of the Hospital; knowledge of Cantonese is not essential.
• Candidates should hold qualifications as RVNs or AIRC Cert IV or equivalent.
