Job Description - Accountant, Scaling Startup (HK$ 30K+)

Your new role

Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and payments
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
Prepare financial statements, reports, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules
Improve accounting processes and internal controls for efficiency and accuracy
Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
5-7 years of total working experience in accounting & finance
Fluency in English and Chinese
Regional exposure is highly preferred.
Experience with Excel and Accounting Systems
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
