Job Description - Accountant - Senior Accountant, Family Office (Work Life Balance)

Responsibilities

Manage the accounting functions for the Family Office, including preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and tax filings.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with asset management teams to support investment-related accounting tasks and reporting requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial reports.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices within asset management and family office sectors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the asset management industry or licensed corporations.
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
