Accountant - US Retail Sourcing Company (Up to 26k)

Client Details

Our client is a well-known US listed retail sourcing company with office all around the world. They have multiple business in the APAC region with mature wholesales business operating in Hong Kong. They are now seeking for an Accountant to join their experienced team to cope with business expansion this year.

Description

• Responsible for general accounting matters and general ledger process, performing appropriate review and ensure appropriate controls and compliance.
• Investigate and reconcile payment issues and prepare debit / credit notes
• Reconcile inventory reports and ensure proper inventory recognition
• Prepare intercompany invoice and balance reconciliations
• Provide practical analysis and timely reporting of financial information including reports to Corporate Treasury and Corporate Tax Department
• Implement good cash management practices for receivables and payables and ensure proper control over cash disbursements.
• Prepare & review financial reports and supporting schedules at month-end.
• Stay informed on all local tax and other regulatory requirements; establish processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work with external or internal auditors as required ensuring the consistency and compliance of the financial system and information.

Profile

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• At least 3 years relevant experience in handling full set of accounts and accounts analysis
• Multinational company and in garment industry or Buying Offices but not a must
• Knowledge of SAP Business One is preferred.
