Responsibilities:

1. Ensures monthly, quarterly IFRS 17 results and reserve calculations are completed as required and in accordance with the close schedule. Provides initial review of results.
2. Prepares quarterly and annual financial reporting/disclosures of actuarial reserves, capital, and all associated sensitivities.
3. Assists with regulatory initiatives and annual submissions i.e. RBC, AM Best, DST, etc.
4. Builds relationships across functions and divisions and establishes a level of credibility.
5. Prioritizes deliverables in support of team goals with guidance.
6. Updates reports appropriately, writes clear and concise emails, and demonstrates organized thought process in written work.
7. Demonstrates commitment towards continuously updating knowledge and skills while incorporating feedback.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
2. Fresh graduate and IANG are welcomed
3. Knowledge of the terminology and concepts of actuarial reserves gained through the writing of professional actuarial exams.
4. Strong communicate skills in both verbal and written form
5. Ability to leverage process automation tools and optimize the efficiency of actuarial reserve, capital, and sensitivity calculations.
6. Ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment and in collaboration with several functional areas.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
8. Knowledge in AXIS, Prophet or related programming is an advantage.
