Job Description - Admin & HR Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full spectrum of human resources functions including but not limited to recruitment & resignation, C&B, payroll administration, employee relations and performance management, MPF and tax return, updating of the HR Policies Manual etc.
  • Oversee daily general administration support to the Society including but not limited to filing & retrieving documents, compiling statistics & reports, handling mailing, procurement and office maintenance etc.
  • Assist the Admin & HR Manager to oversee the work of Volunteer Services Committee and support the management of volunteers in the Society, including drafting of Committee meeting minutes
  • Oversee internal transportation services provided to the Board/Committee members, staff, patients, and guests etc. to ensure smooth running of the operations of HKACS
  • Responsible for company secretarial affairs of the Society to ensure compliance with the Companies Ordinance and housekeeping of all documentation related to Companies Registry
  • Assist the administration of other ad hoc Committee, Task Group and other ad hoc project(s) as assigned by the CEO
  • Assist the Admin & HR Manger in preparing annual budget regarding Admin & HR Department
  • Supervise a small team of 4-5 junior staff (including 2 drivers) in the Admin & HR Department
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Admin & HR Manager and the CEO

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience. Experience in NGO will be an asset
  • Well-versed in the HKSAR Employment Ordinance and other related legislation and practice
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Chinese Word Processing, Excel. Solid experience in maintaining HRM system
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and multi-tasking
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Smart, detail-minded, self-motivated, well-organised, with strong sense of responsibility, high level of accuracy, and a good team player

Successful candidates will be offered a renewable contract term appointment with up to 10% of total basic salary as contract-end gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
