Pay HK$64,518 to HK$89,978 (HGPS Pt 26 – 33A) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. | ||

Key Responsibilities | ||
1. | Impact professional knowledge and develop nursing skills and attitudes of nurse learners. | |
2. | Co-ordinate clinical learning activities of nurse learners. | |
3. | Assess and evaluate academic and clinical performance of nurse learners. | |
4. | Provide counseling guidance, supervision and assistance to nurse learners. | |
5. | Participate in educational, clinical and management activities in promotion of nursing profession and nursing education. | |
6. | Assist in the development and implementation of professional development and education, professional standards, quality improvement and nursing research activities. | |
7. | Develop professional nursing standard, care protocol and clinical pathway. | |
8. | Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the service. | |

Entry Requirements | ||
1. | Holder of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate (Part I) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. | |
2. | Qualification in advanced nursing specialty *. | |
3. | A degree in Nursing or equivalent. | |
4. | 5 years or more post-registration experience in healthcare, of which at least 3 years is in the related specialty. | |

Preferable Attributes/Exposure | ||
1. | Demonstrated competency requirements and leadership ability of an Advanced Practice Nurse. | |
2. | A Master degree in nursing or related discipline. | |
3. | A teaching qualification from a Hong Kong tertiary institution or a higher degree in Nursing/Nursing Education from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent. | |
4. | Supervisory experience and basic managerial skills, e.g. planning, organising, evaluation, problem-solving and communication. | |
5. | Contribution to professional development including research/evidence-based practice, teaching and training. | |
6. | Teaching, coaching and counselling skills. | |
7. | Ability to conduct research. | |
8. | Commitment to education. | |
9. | Experience in various clinical areas. | |
10. | Knowledge of health care service delivery in Hong Kong. | |
11. | Knowledge in contemporary nursing education. | |
