Job Description - AI Agent Engineer (Perm, up to 60k)

We are partnering with sizable company to look for several forward-thinking and hands-on AI Engineer to build and deploy AI-powered solution that directly supports business operations.

About the job
  • End-to-End AI Development - Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI applications and autonomous multi-agent systems from initial prototype to cloud deployment.
  • Agentic Workflows & RAG -Develop advanced agent architectures incorporating RAG pipelines, long-term memory, tool/function calling, and structured data querying (SQL/vector).
  • Business Process Automation - Partner closely with internal teams (HR, Finance, Marketing) to translate manual workflows into scalable, automated AI solutions.
  • Frameworks & Strategy - Collaborate with senior management to establish reusable corporate AI frameworks, guardrails, and long-term AI transformation strategies.
  • Production Quality & Observability - Implement evaluation, testing, and tracing tools to monitor agent reliability, token costs, and mitigate hallucination rates in production.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, backend development, or workflow automation, with a focus on deploying generative AI solutions.
  • Proficient with Python (including API/backend development) and strong experience with modern LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and agent frameworks.
  • Proficient with SQL, data modeling, vector databases, and modern DevOps tools including Docker, Git, and cloud (AWS/Azure) deployment practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with non-technical business stakeholders, with exposure to BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) for tracking process metrics.
  • Proficient in Chinese and English
