AI Enablement Engineer (Contract)

The Opportunity

A well-established financial services firm with operations across Asia is looking for a senior AI Enablement Engineer on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role for someone who can bridge AI strategy and delivery - working across business functions and markets to turn GenAI and agentic tooling into practical, scalable solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Help define and prioritise the AI use case roadmap across business functions
2. Design, build, and deploy AI and GenAI solutions end to end
3. Develop reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices for agentic AI
4. Run training sessions and workshops to upskill business and technical teams
5. Support teams across the region on AI capability building and use case delivery
6. Drive responsible, scalable adoption of emerging AI technologies

What We're Looking For:

Background:

1. Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
2. 8+ years in AI, data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics
3. Experience in financial services is an advantage

Technical skills:

1. Hands-on GenAI experience: prompt engineering, LLM grounding, and practical deployment
2. Proven experience building agentic workflows with real implementation (not just theory)
3. Strong Python and SQL; comfortable with modern ML frameworks
4. Experience with at least one major cloud AI platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Other requirements:

1. Able to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders
2. Experience working across multiple countries and cultures
3. Fluent in English
