The hiring company is an insurer and they are looking for AI Manager, specifically dedicated to drive the Internal AI Transformation among local business units.
About the role
Act as the local lead for the internal AI roadmap, overseeing the implementation of generative AI, predictive analytics, and automated decision-making tools.
Localize and deploy AI products (e.g., internal chatbots, automated reporting, or risk models) to solve specific local business bottlenecks.
Partner with department heads to identify manual processes and translate their pain points into technical requirements for the AI engineering teams.
Manage project sprints, from initial POC (Proof of Concept) to full-scale deployment and maintenance.
Serve as an AI Ambassador. Host "AI Literacy" workshops and champion the adoption of new tools to ensure we aren't just building tech, but actually using it.
Directly maintain and optimize our existing library of Python-based automations and internal scripts to ensure they evolve alongside our AI strategy.
Define and monitor KPIs for AI effectiveness, such as "Hours Saved via Automation" or "Model Accuracy Improvements," and report findings to executive leadership.
Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
with 6+ years of experience in data or AI project management, ideally within a regional or multinational matrix environment.
Strong hands-on Python skills are essential for script maintenance and API integrations.
Familiarity with the AI Lifecycle (data labeling, model training, deployment, and monitoring).
Understanding of data ecosystems (warehousing, pipelines) as they relate to feeding AI models.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and familiarity with AI frameworks or cloud platforms (Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, or Vertex AI) is a plus.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills. You must be able to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical colleagues with clarity and wit.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage for regional collaboration.
