Alternative Investment Vice President

A leading Hong Kong investment firm is seeking a seasoned professional to drive strategic impact across private credit, public credit and private equity, while also engaging with frontier technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. In this role, you’ll influence high-value investment decisions, collaborate across diverse asset classes and tech-driven sectors, and gain direct exposure to Asia-Pacific growth market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies across private credit, public credit, and private equity markets.
• Conduct in-depth due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis for potential investments.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide actionable insights to optimize returns.
• Stay ahead of market trends in technology, AI, blockchain, and crypto to identify innovative investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to structure and negotiate deals.
• Prepare detailed investment reports and present recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in alternative investments with proven expertise in private credit, public credit.
• Strong knowledge of technology trends, AI applications, blockchain, and cryptocurrency markets.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Experience in deal sourcing and structuring, particularly in tech-driven sectors.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific regulatory frameworks for digital assets and alternative investments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative team player with a positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
