Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reviews and assessments of AML and transaction monitoring alerts, ensuring timely identification and escalation of suspicious activities.
• Lead and support investigations into high-risk transactions or clients, preparing comprehensive case reports and recommendations for management approval.
• Perform periodic reviews of KYC files and support the onboarding and remediation of higher-risk customers.
• Collaborate in the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data analytics, and process refinement to improve monitoring efficiency.
• Develop periodic management reports, dashboards, and metrics to support internal governance and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support on policy development, training initiatives, and other compliance-related projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant AML or financial crime compliance experience; prior exposure to transaction monitoring or alert investigations preferred.
• Professional qualification such as AAMLP, CAMS, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing potential risks.
• Self-motivated, meticulous, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
