Analyst, GFX Middle Office, Markets & Securities Services

Role Profile

Provide efficient and effective operational support of the FX, EM Rates, Future and Commodities Middle Office function across Trading and Sales. Timely deal capture, amendments and trade lifecycle management to ensure complete and accurate data. Key EOD Control monitoring - the Middle Office role will form an independent control to flag and detect potential trading position or P&L anomalies to the business heads.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the efficient and smooth running of day to day business
• Remove strain on Trading to allow them to focus on Risk
• Reduction of Operational Risk
• Provide clean and accurate data to downstream consumers, including Traded Risk and Finance
• Creating and leveraging strong working relationships, front to back, regionally and globally, to optimize processes and improve levels of STP, including development of Best Practices with Front Office where appropriate
• Drive the identification and progression of continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes, working with line management and Change Management and Technology
• Ability to identify risks and issues and escalate appropriately.

To be successful you will need:

• Preference with experience working in the Front Office and knowledge of FXO, FX Cash, Commodities, EM Rates and Future products would be advantage
• Understanding of Front to Back of the business and trade booking model
• Strong customer focus with a drive to deliver high standards of service to internal and external clients
• Good communication skills with clear and concise articulation of details
• Pro-active and driven - willing to learn and can work independently on routine BAU, process review and re-engineering opportunities.
