In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Objective

Assist the section manager to manage the section's activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner while maintaining high quality and adequate controls

Principal Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the subordinates to ensure smooth running of the section
• Complete the Clearing jobs adhere to agreed service level and HKICL cutoff
• Maintain high quality customer service standards and good operational control to prevent any complaints and losses
• Support project development and assist the section manager to plan resources to cope with launch of new products / services and peak hours
• Make recommendations on modification of procedures and application of technology to enhance operational efficiency and control
• Assist the section manager to manage and administer the section on a day-to-day basis
• Make suggestions on streamlining and enhancing operational procedures and control if possible, with appropriate level of technology and recommend replacement of out-dated equipment to enhance productivity and to achieve manpower savings
• Report to the section manager regularly and whenever necessary
• Working relationship with branches / channels, card services, IT, etc.
• Liaise with service providers

Education and Relevant Experience

• Post Secondary or above
• At least 3 year's relevant working experience
• Experience of banking operations and practices
• Experience of people management
