Analyst/ASSO, Business Management and Middle Office Team, Fixed Income

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in executing the duties of the 1.5 line of defense risk monitoring for front office, including the monitoring of the liquidity, market and credit risks of the trading desks; analyze major profit and loss events and changes in risk indicators, and ensure that the limit and various indicators are within the risk limit;
• Provide support in handling daily trade lifecycle management, including account opening for customers, trades booking, monitoring real-time settlement status, and perform transaction reporting etc;
• Assist to complete review of Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering risk assessment, and ongoing Continuous Customer Due Diligence (CCDD) as required;
• Provide general administrative support to the department;
• Participate in the implementation of various projects related to front office products, conduct system testing, and support the implementation of new products;
• Assist in setting up and the annual review of Fixed Income Department related policies, guidelines, procedures and manuals;
• Such other duties as shall from time to time be directed by your supervisors.

Skills & Experience

• Degree holder in Finance or Business related discipline including Finance / Economics / Risk Management / Business Information System or equivalent;
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial institutions;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Strong knowledge on financial products and relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards;
• Strong organizational and communication skills; Excellent figures sense and strong analytical skills;
• A team player, self-starter, mature, detailed-oriented, and able to work under pressure;
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel;
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua and written English and Chinese;
