We are looking for an experienced Associate Business Development Director to join our dynamic team. Job Description
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with the senior level stakeholders and key industry partners/merchants to drive cross-sector collaboration and payment penetration growth
• Closely watch on the dynamics of Hong Kong's payment market trends and competitor landscape. Adapt strategies with agility, and drive mutual payment growth alongside online merchants to achieve sales targets and objectives
• Identify new business opportunities and drive initiatives to expand our market presence
• Closely monitor and analyse key performance metrics of the KAs to track progress and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that enhance client engagement and satisfaction
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and partnership materials to prospective clients
• Develop and implement effective strategies and promotion campaigns to deliver business results and meet performance targets
• Prepare and present reports on sales performance and business development activities to senior management
Job Requirement
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales. Possesses a proven track record of scaling account performance from 1 to N, alongside experience in nurturing merchant growth and driving industry expansion.
• Demonstrates a strong track record of managing account performance, is familiar with client management tools, and leverages a strong data sense to proactively identify performance issues, provide reasonable cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Possesses a deep understanding of the digital payment landscape and customer needs within the industry.
• Exhibits a results-driven approach with proven success in key account management and establishing strategic partnerships.
• Possesses excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of long-term client relationships.
• Capable of strategic thinking and tactical execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics, with a highly analytical mindset that allows for seamless transitions between strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
• Displays a can-do attitude; is a fast learner, highly self-motivated, and responsible. Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
