Assistant Accountant - Treasury Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and report on the company’s global cash position and use cash flow projections to improve liquidity
• Coordinate cash needs related to net inflow/outflows of all entities and advise of any capital needs
• Track the financial income/costs by updating schedules, with financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance and accuracy with internal policies and regulatory requirements across the company, handle bank accounts (open and close as needed), bank relationships, maintenance, signing pattern and KYC requests
• Implement hedging policies and provide forecasts to internal stakeholders, hedge according to the company’s needs within the policy
• Identify and reduce financial risks such as operational tax risk, interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk
• Support in annual business budget, forecast, month end closing, audit and tax compliance activities
• Take part in special projects supporting a continuous improvement mentality, ad hoc tasks as required by the Controller and Senior managers

REQUIREMENTS

• Accounting, Finance or related degree holder
• 3 years of accounting work experience, Treasury and tax planning experience preferred
• Computer software and EXCEL proficient, SAP knowledge is a plus
• Banking, interest rates, hedging, financing, investment knowledge
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented, pressure-resistant and deadline-oriented
• Aspirant for a regional career in a growing company
• Student pursuing CFA designation desirable
