The Role:
- Facilitate regular performance checking, maintenance & servicing works of existing telecommunications system, CCTV operating system, SCADA system, PLC control systems and other infrastructure for town gas pressure reduction facilities
- Assist in diagnosis of faults in electrical/electronic systems, repair damaged electrical/electronic devices, produce schematic wiring diagram and other schematics, run performance tests, troubleshoot issues and compile data into detailed reports
- Assist in developing PLC control systems
- Electrical and electronic product evaluation and testing is required
- Take part in ad hoc duties when an emergency may arise. Thus, odd working hours may have to be encountered
- Work sometimes not takes place in office environment, but in company’s designated outdoor town gas pressure reduction facilities within Hong Kong
The Person:
- Higher Diploma or above in Electronic Engineering / Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in engineering field is preferred
- Knowledge in programming of PLC control systems is preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is preferable
- Able to work independently with strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills
- Capable to work at sites and office
- Holder of valid driving license of Class 1 & 2 is an advantage
- Holder of Electrical Worker License of Grade A is an advantage
