Job Description

As an (Assistant) IT Security Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Act as a trusted security advisor for technology solutions, reviewing architectural proposals and business requirements
Oversee security architecture assessments to confirm that platforms, applications, AI services, and network environments adhere to organizational security frameworks and recognized industry standards.
Perform in-depth security risk evaluations
Participate in incident response processes, working with operational teams to improve detection, analysis, and resolution of security events.
Review and refine security policies, standards, and procedural documentation to strengthen overall governance and control effectiveness.
Develop structured reports and updates for senior leadership, communicating risks, progress, and key security insights.

The Successful Applicant

A successful (Assistant) IT Security Manager should have:

Provide security advisory on solution architecture, business requirements, and security-related enquiries
A strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
Experience in managing and monitoring security systems.
Knowledge of risk assessment and compliance processes.
Proficiency in analyzing and resolving security incidents.
The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive approach to staying informed about cybersecurity advancements.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
