Formulation of Electrical Operation Strategies: Development of data center operation strategies, cabinet capacity control, PUE optimization strategies, etc. Technical Review: Technical review of major maintenance actions for electrical facilities, review of weekly/monthly reports, and review of annual data center drills and maintenance plans. Fault Handling and Analysis: Guidance on professional handling of severe and major faults, as well as post-incident fault analysis. Maintenance Plan: Development of the annual electrical maintenance plan. Responsible for the availability and continuity of the data center power distribution service indicators. Responsible for the service recovery of each system in the data center within the specified SLA time limit. Responsible for responding and diagnosing the monitoring alarms or event ticket of each system in the data center within the specified time limit. Ensure that the quality of various services provided by the team (such as inspection/fault diagnosis/emergency drills) meets the quality requirements in the SOW. Liaise closely with facility managers, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate resources and resolve on-site issues. Maintain accurate facility technical records (equipment manuals, maintenance logs, inspection reports) in both Chinese and English, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Develop and update facility maintenance plans, optimizing procedures to enhance equipment reliability and service life.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline. More than 6 years of experience in data center facility operation and maintenance management, and more than 6 years of experience in Electrical system maintenance and management. Ability to diagnose faults in data center Electrical systems. Hold Registering Electrical Worker (B/C/H) is preferred. Familiarity with EMSD and FSD inspection processes and legal requirements, with experience in handling government approvals is a plus. Solid knowledge of electrical systems, proficient in the operation principles and maintenance standards of power distribution. Ability to read technical drawings (CAD plans), equipment manuals, and bilingual technical documents. Familiar with office software. Long-term engagement in related power professions with accumulated technical experience. Experience in the full process of data center design, construction, testing and acceptance, and operations. Possess data analysis capabilities to quantitatively monitor the operational status of the data center. Strong problem-solving and on-site adaptability, capable of independently diagnosing equipment faults and developing repair plans. Fluent in Cantonese and English (spoken and written), able to communicate technical details and prepare bilingual reports.
