The Assistant Manager will support the delivery of finance transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on digital enablement, data-driven insights, and process modernisation. This role is designed for a future-ready finance professional who is keen to build transformation capability and grow into a strategic finance role as Hong Kong's corporate finance landscape evolves.

The Job

• Act as the contact point between IT teams and stakeholders in the project cycles for streamlining finance operations workflow process and improving efficiency and strengthen controls
• Understand users' needs and consolidate requirements of finance projects with multiple stakeholders
• Define solution with business and IT, helping senior-level business stakeholders make informed decisions, including option evaluation, prioritization.
• Proactively provide status, assess risk, escalate issues, and provide mitigation, alternatives to project manager
• Perform data analysis and mapping with finance teams
• Prepare presentations deck for management or project stakeholders

The Person

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in financial institutions, consulting, or transformation-related roles
• Exposure to finance transformation, digital initiatives, or change programmes is an advantage
• Working knowledge of finance data, reporting, or analytical environments
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in digital / data tools, e.g. Power BI, Alteryx, Power Platform
• Structured, proactive, and comfortable working in a change-oriented environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
