Assistant Manager - HR (Generalist, C&B Focus)
Chinese Securities Firm
Our client, a well-established Chinese securities firm, is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager, HR to join its Hong Kong team. This is a hands-on HR generalist role with a strong emphasis on Compensation & Benefits, supporting both daily HR operations and cyclical C&B activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an HR generalist supporting the employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding
  • Take ownership of C&B-related matters, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and annual salary and bonus exercises
  • Support compensation benchmarking, market surveys, and cost analysis
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors on C&B and HR operations
  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with internal policies and local regulatory requirements
  • Prepare HR reports and management information; support head office and regional HR initiatives
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of HR experience, ideally within financial services
  • Solid grounding in Compensation & Benefits, combined with broader HR generalist exposure
  • Experience in securities firm or China-related financial institutions is highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and organisational skills
  • Fluent in Chinese and English;
