Assistant Network Development Manager

Responsibility

Assists to develop CMI global submarine cables investment strategies and planning.
Part of CMI planning and development team to collaborate with partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive the planning and construction of submarine cable systems including formulation of consortium, tendering process, selection of vendors, creation of plan of work, budgetary approval and technical review of design, manufacturing, and installation plans.
Assists to work with cross functional teams to develop network requirement and capacity procurement strategies and generates objective investment analysis and recommendations for investment approvals.
Works closely with Group HQ and regulators to ensure submarine cable projects approval.
Negotiates with partners and vendors to ensure CMI's interests in joint built agreement and supply contract..
Represents CMI planning team in project meetings, conferences and trade shows as necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunication industry with submarine projects experiences preferred.
Transmission knowledge background.
Understanding of submarine cable systems and project process as a plus.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with strong interactive and negotiation abilities.
Fluent in speaking English and Mandarin
