Job Description - Assistant Sales Manager

THE ROLE

As we continues to redefine modern luxury through service excellence and product innovation, we are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager who will support hotel business goals, driving sales opportunities, and to address different segment businesses..

The talent we are looking for is the one who is a team player with can-do attitude, ability to leverage on existing and new opportunities to maximize commercial performance of the hotel. This position’s success is rooted in a deep passion for uncompromising service standards, ability to anticipate needs and impeccable interpersonal skills.

Job Summary

  • Provide support to the team for the development and implementation of annual strategic plans for markets / countries, channels and accounts which are aligned to hotel’s business plan
  • Champion and maximize commercial opportunities of the hotel in all segments
  • Providing market intelligence on business and economic trends and competitor activities
  • Cultivate opportunities in building partnership and business exposure for hotel
  • Perform as a key account champion including management of rate proposals and bookings
  • Proactively propose and innovate sales-related initiatives to ensure maximum realization of revenue potentials
  • Working with Regional Sales Leaders, GSO Leaders and Sales Leaders on strategic group-wide promotions and offers
  • Support Director of Sales for effective implementation of sales, distribution, merchandising through marketing strategies
  • Accountable for execution and sales data gathering, monitoring KPIs, evaluating ROI

Requirements

  • Degree related to Sales & Marketing, High school diploma, or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2-years of related work experience in hotelor hospitality industry.
  • Providing market intelligence on business and economic trends and competitor activities
  • Cultivate opportunities in building partnership and business exposure for hotel
  • Perform as a key account champion including management of rate proposals and bookings
  • Proactively propose and innovate sales-related initiatives to ensure maximum realization of revenue potentials
