Our client is a prominent institutional asset manager with a strong heritage in the Asia-Pacific region. The firm provides a broad range of investment solutions to institutional and intermediary clients, leveraging deep market expertise, disciplined investment processes, and a long-term approach to capital stewardship.

To support its business development and investor engagement activities in Hong Kong, the firm is looking for a high-caliber Assistant Vice President to join its Investment Promotion function.

Exciting new role for you

1. Develop existing distribution channels and identify new opportunities for fund distribution and investor coverage in partnership with the Dept. Head.
2. Support investor relations, capital raising, and business development activities across institutional investors, family offices, private banks, and other professional investors.
3. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying new investor opportunities and distribution channels.
4. Prepare marketing materials, investment presentations, and client communications to support fundraising and investor engagement initiatives.
5. Organize and participate in client meetings, roadshows, conferences, and other investor marketing events.
6. Conduct market research and provide insights on investor trends, competitive developments, and business opportunities.
7. Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
8. Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements

1. 3-5 years solid sales and marketing experience in financial institutions, much preferably from PE and/or Asset Management industries.
2. Knowledge in investor relationship establishment, PE Asset/mutual fund/UCITS fund/private
3. fund business, financial product management.
4. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
5. Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be a significant advantage.
6. Sales support and client services experience from PE/Asset Management industries
7. will be a strong plus.
