Job Description - Assistant/Business Manager, Treasury Business, Regional Corporate Bank

Your new company

Our client is a well-established regional corporate bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong. Known for its stability and commitment to excellence, the bank is expanding its Treasury team and seeking a seasoned professional to join as Assistant / Business Manager, Treasury Business. As an Assistant / Business Manager, you will provide direct support to the business, focusing on treasury-related business control and support responsibilities. This is a pivotal role that ensures the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of the bank's treasury operations.

Your new role

Assist in establishing and enhancing treasury product sales policies and procedures.
Support day-to-day control processes, including documentation review, transaction review and monitoring and reporting of treasury activities.
Enhance treasury transaction systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, and risk control.
Drive initiatives to streamline daily operations and strengthen process efficiency.
Work closely with Treasury Product and Front Office teams to ensure smooth coordination and effective business support.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Contribute to process improvements and risk management initiatives within the Treasury function.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a sizeable bank.
Strong knowledge of Treasury business in a corporate banking environment.
Solid understanding of business control processes, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Experience in system enhancement or operational efficiency projects within Treasury is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting senior management.
