Associate/ Assistant Vice President, Product Development (Asset Management)

Job Description:

• Assist Vice President and assist the entire product development process from providing product strategy insights and ideas to regional and global strategies to managing & resolving any post-launch issues
• Involve in the full product design process in accordance with business strategies in local and overseas markets and implement relevant measurement to drive product initiatives
• Manage product initiatives by liaising across various business units including investment team, risk management team, compliance team, sales & marketing team, finance and any external service providers etc. To ensure successful product launches and maintain ongoing product management
• Make recommendations to business units to enhance competitiveness of product range e.g. introduction of share classes and make relevant changes according to regulatory changes
• Review the current workflow and identify rooms for streamlining the product development process as well as operation process so as to ensure operation capability is ready for new or revamped products
• Continually update knowledge of industry standards and developments especially regulatory changes which impact product launches or existing product range and communicate internally

Job Requirement:

• Degree or above with major in finance or risk management or other related disciplines
• At least 1-3 years of experience in the Asset Management industry
• Knowledge across a broad spectrum of investment capabilities including equity, fixed income, alternative investment, quant and ETF products
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills in dealing with different level of staff
• Excellent project management skills
• Self-driven, result-oriented with strong initiative and drive to succeed
• Proficient in written & spoken English & Mandarin
