Job Description - Associate, ETF Business

We are seeking a sales driven and client‑focused ETF Sales Associate with minimum 3–5 years of experience in asset management, ETF distribution, brokerage, or related financial services. The candidate will play an active role in promoting the firm’s ETF offerings, deepening client relationships, and driving business growth across the region.

Job Description:

Sales & Business Development

    • Drive ETF sales efforts with brokerage firms, private banks, brokers, insurance partners, family offices, and External Asset Managers.
    • Bridging sales strategies with execution, ensuring distribution efforts connect to measurable outcomes.
    • Conduct product pitches, market updates, and training sessions independently or jointly with senior colleagues.
    • Support new product launches by coordinating with product, investment, and marketing teams.
    • Identify new ETF business opportunities and contribute to sales strategy development.

Client Relationship Management

    • Manage day-to-day interactions with distributors and key accounts.
    • Respond toAddressing client eninquiries on ETF product, trading, pricing, index methodology, fund flows, and market conditionsinsights.
    • Strengthen relationships with existing partners and support onboarding of new ones.
    • Maintain CRM records and track client activity/sales pipeline.

Events & Engagement

    • Participate in roadshows, conferences, webinars, and client training sessions.
    • Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns and distributor engagement initiatives.
    • Maintain regulatory and compliance oversight for event materials and disclosures, coordinate reviews with legal and compliance.

Job Requirement:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years experience in financial services. Prior working experience in Asset Managers and exposure to ETFs, passive or index related products is a definite advantage.3–5 years of relevant experience in ETF sales, asset management distribution, brokerage, or related investment roles.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, proven experience in investors education and products pitching.
    • Solid Sound understanding of ETFs, index construction, liquidity, and trading dynamics.
    • Sales and result oriented. Client-first mindset with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
    • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Competent in Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg experience preferred.
    • Relevant regulatory licences (e.g., SFC Paper 1/4/9) preferred.
    • Good command of both written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
