Associate, FICC Sales/Dealer - Asian Bank

A leading Asian banking platform is seeking a junior markets sales professional to join its Global Markets team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will support the team across FICC dealing, client coverage, product initiatives, operational tasks, and documentation support, while working closely with relationship managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of corporate or financial institutions sales experience who is looking to develop a career in markets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, fluent English, and a proactive, self-driven approach. Understanding of Cantonese is required, while Mandarin is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

1. Support daily dealing activities across FICC products, including deposits.
2. Assist with client coverage and cross-selling in partnership with relationship managers.
3. Support new product rollout and related project coordination.
4. Manage daily operational follow-up and desk administration.
5. Assist with PnL reporting and documentation processes.
6. Coordinate ISDA/GMRA matters as required.

Requirements

1. 2–3 years’ experience in corporate sales or financial institutions sales.
2. Strong communication and presentation skills.
3. Fluent English and Cantonese understanding required; Mandarin preferred.
4. Proactive, energetic, and commercially aware.
5. Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn.
