Job Description

As an AVP, System Maintenance & Operations, your main responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Managing and monitoring infrastructure to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
Leading system upgrades, patches, and configurations to align with organizational requirements.
Collaborating with internal teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and security protocols for all systems.
Providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of IT professionals.
Documenting system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
Responding to incidents and conducting root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP, System Maintenance & Operations should have:

Strong expertise in managing Linux-based systems within an enterprise IT environment.
Proficiency in infrastructure management, system optimization, and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of IT security practices and compliance standards in the financial services sector.
Experience in leading technical teams and managing large-scale IT projects.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system management.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
