AVP - Trade Finance - Operations Department

Job Description:

1. Lead and monitor daily trade financing operation, including import, export billings and bank guarantees, ensure transactions processing are adhering to relevant regulatory requirements and internal guidelines;
2. Conduct document verification for import/export transactions and bank guarantees in accordance with ICC rules (UCP, ISBP, ISP and URDG);
3. Coach team members through training and transferring knowledge and skill;
4. Provide expert recommendations and efficient bills service to both internal and external clients;
5. Review and streamline trade finance workflow, update procedure manual from time to time;
6. Participate in system enhancement initiatives, including requirements gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or related field;
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in trade finance operations, sound knowledge of both import and export bills as well as bank guarantee;
3. Familiar with bank guarantee is preferred;
4. Good leadership and strong problem solving skills, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure;
5. Good communication skills, fluent in Mandarin and proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
