AVP, Trade Finance Operations (Documentation)

Key Responsibilities

• Support Team Lead in monitoring daily operations and reviewing import/export trade and FI transactions (e.g. receivables financing, factoring, guarantees, standby L/Cs).
• Perform document checking for import/export L/C transactions in accordance with UCP and international standards.
• Conduct transaction due diligence to ensure compliance with procedures and service standards.
• Assist in policy/guideline reviews and handle ad hoc projects and cross-team operational support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• ~10+ years' experience in trade services operations, with some supervisory / client service exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICC rules (UCP, ISBP, URC, ISP, URDG). CDCS qualification is a plus.
• Familiar with AML, sanctions, TBML checks, and transaction pre-assessment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer-focused mindset.
• Solid understanding of operational risk and ability to identify irregularities.
• Experience with SWIFT (ISO20022), banking/trade systems, UAT, and system enhancements.
• Proficient in MS Office; good command of English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
