Job Description - AVP/VP Credit Administration (European Bank)

Key Responsibilities

Understand front‑to‑back trade flows, risk, and P&L.
Review credit and loan documents to ensure accurate booking and risk reporting.
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Front Office, Facility Agents, Back Office, and global teams to close transactions, confirm approvals, and reconcile pricing and cashflows.
Support secondary loan transfers by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transfer documents.
Manage loan transactions and lifecycle events in line with regulatory, legal, and internal requirements.
Enhance controls and streamline processes.
Participate in system upgrades, regulatory initiatives, and other Middle Office projects.
Partner with Business Management and Front Office on new product launches.
Maintain strong controls, identify gaps, and follow through on remediation.

Requirements

University degree.
8+ years of Structured Finance Loans Middle Office/ documentation experience within banking.
Knowledge of structured finance products (asset‑backed, project finance, fund finance, securitization).
Experience with credit insurance preferred.
Strong understanding of LMA/LSTA loan documentation and loan closing, lifecycle, and secondary transfer processes.
Experience working with auditors and operational risk teams.
Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Confident dealing with external counterparties professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Loan IQ a plus.
Strong analytical skills, fast learner, adaptable, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing a heavy workload.
