AVP/VP, Relationship Manager, Local Corporates - International Bank

The position involves managing a portfolio of local corporates, originating new client relationships, and providing comprehensive banking solutions across lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury products. It plays a vital role in driving revenue growth and strengthening the bank’s market presence in Hong Kong.

Role Overview:

This role is integral to the organisation’s corporate banking division, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with local corporates in Hong Kong. The Relationship Manager will engage actively with clients to understand their financial needs, deliver tailored banking solutions, and support the bank's strategic growth objectives.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience covering Hong Kong-based corporates
• Solid knowledge of corporate lending and general corporate banking products
• Strong track record in client acquisition, portfolio management, and revenue generation
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Hong Kong local corporates, including SMEs, listed companies, and larger corporates
• Originate new client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities across lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury products
• Conduct financial and credit analysis, prepare credit proposals, and ensure proper risk control
• Collaborate with product teams and internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive banking solutions
• Maintain regular client engagement while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Right to work in Hong Kong
• On-site working environment
• Experience with FIN CB Syn Loan, IND Bank Corporate, IND Bank Commercial, HKG RM LC, and HKG RM MME is desirable
• Employment in a permanent capacity with available positions starting from 29/03/2026
