The Role

AVP/VP, Syndication, DCM, IBD

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for underwriting syndicate operations related to DCM business;
• Market updates on offshore debt, pricing recommendations, pricing execution, book-building, allocation, etc.;
• Led end-to-end pricing execution for major projects, proficient in conducting pricing meetings in both Chinese and English, and familiar with clearing and settlement processes;
• Work closely with internal fixed income sales team for marketing and gathering feedback from investors;
• Acted as a cross-functional team member to assist in deal execution and maintain relationships with issuers and investors;
• Such other tasks assigned by team leader from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• University graduate or higher, in finance, economics, accounting or law related degree preferred;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in syndication in investment banking, experience in Chinese offshore DCM market, or experience in a credit rating advisory role is highly preferred; candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Pleasant, presentable and a good team player;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Good written skill in English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin and English is mandatory, able to converse in Cantonese is preferred.
