Job Description - Bank - UI/UX Designer (4-months contract)

Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end UI/UX design-from strategic concept development to UI execution, key visuals, and animation assets.
Collaborate closely with local and regional technology teams, product managers, researchers, and data teams to develop UX/UI journeys and communication materials.
Produce video content for educational and promotional purposes supporting digital initiatives.
Apply deep understanding of brand DNA, design frameworks, and design systems to create inspiring and innovative design concepts.
Translate user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements into informed design decisions.
Advocate for a design‑driven mindset across teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or UI Designer.
Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent professional experience.
Strong background in responsive and adaptive design methodologies.
Proficient in design standards and frameworks across mobile, tablet, and desktop (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS).
Ability to prototype using HTML/CSS and JavaScript is an advantage.
Skilled in a range of design and creative tools, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, After Effects, and Premiere.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of clearly articulating design rationale.
Language proficiency: Cantonese (daily communication), English (documentation/presentations); Mandarin is a plus.
Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams across strategy, technology, account management, and production.
Demonstrates strong teamwork, self‑motivation, attention to detail, and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
