Bar Server - The Opposites

The Opposites, a new bar venture from World Class champions Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok, is set to shake up Hong Kong's cocktail scene when it opens in Central this summer. These two mixology heavyweights, who've spent over a decade working together at establishments like Quinary, are teaming up again to showcase their contrasting styles and philosophies.

The Opposites, a new bar venture from World Class champions Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok, is set to shake up Hong Kong's cocktail scene when it opens in Central this July 2024. We are looking for caliber candidates with effective communication, multitasking, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and taking drink orders, serving drinks and food to patrons
• Fostering a welcoming culture.
• Restock the servery with condiments, plates, and glasses.
• Monitoring inventory.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area and service station.
• Removing empty bottles and glasses from the bar area.
• Checking identification of guests to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
• Responding to customer inquiries and reporting to Bar Supervisors.
• Processing payments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in lounge/bar industry.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction.
• Customer-oriented and planning skills.
• Outstanding people skills.
• Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem-solving.
• Local Citizen, fluent in speaking English and Chinese.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
