Bartender - The Praya (5-day Work Week)

One-Eight-One Hotel & Serviced Residences is a new brand that is set to rock the hospitality scene in Hong Kong.

Operated by One-Eight-One Hospitality Management Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of HK-listed conglomerate - Liu Chong Hing Investment Limited ), this property is located in Western District and commands panoramic views of Victoria Harbour. The 182-room hotel and serviced residences is now looking for energetic and service-oriented individuals to join our Team .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare set-up appropriately at start of shift.

2. Consistently check bar area for cleanliness and ensure that all necessary items are in place.

3. Ensure that all liquor items are stocked and ready to use. Responsible for liquor control and accurate pouring of product.

4. Assist with the service of food and beverage to the guests at the bar and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu.

5. Accurately execute guest orders and requests and greet all guest promptly making them feel at home.

6. Notify management of guest complaints at the time they occur. Practice good service recovery by rectifying any complaints as soon as possible.

7. Responsible for attendance at all Service Training Meetings and daily line-up as requested.

REQUIREMENTS

1. One year’s Food & Beverage experience preferred.

2. Possess with alcohol and food safety awareness certificate.

3. Excellent communication skills and articulate speech. Ability to follow instructions well.

4. Always perform at the highest level pf ethical works standards.

5. Creative, presentable and self-motivated.

6. Passionate about cocktails, beverage and wine.
