Position: Bilingual Traditional Chinese STEM Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $38–$43/hour
Duration: 3–6 months
Commitment: Minimum 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in Traditional Chinese and/or English with multiple constraints and scientifically accurate instructions.
• Define and document evaluation standards with comprehensive rubrics that ensure scientific rigor and linguistic clarity.
• Conduct model testing and grading by running prompts through AI models and assessing outputs for scientific accuracy and reasoning quality.
• Support benchmarking and quality assurance by collaborating in QA review processes to maintain consistency and reliability across Traditional Chinese-language benchmarks.
• Ensure scientific precision and maintain clear, natural phrasing consistent with academic conventions in Hong Kong or Taiwan.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese (written), specifically native to Hong Kong or Taiwan.
• Strong reading and writing proficiency in English.
• BS or BA in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Familiarity with undergraduate-level biology, physics, or chemistry topics.
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience in teaching, research, or an applied STEM discipline.
• Experience working with academic terminology specific to Hong Kong or Taiwan educational standards.
