Job Description - Building Surveyor $45K

Job Duties:

Responsible for managing operation, maintenance and works for building fabrics and building surveying aspects, handling technical issues

Prepare design drawings and technical specification for acquisition of tender and quotations for major works, routine repair, maintenance and tenancy alteration and reinstatement

Analyze tender and recommend for acceptance of tender and purchase order, control workmanship and progress of works, certify invoice and recommend for payment

Advise on building structure issue and co-ordinate with the structural engineer as required

Carry out feasibility studies on improvement & upgrading of building and facilities in design, contract administration and project management

Co-ordinate and monitor the project consultant to carry out major maintenance & renovation projects

Co-ordinate the arrangement of site works, handling of tenant’s complaints in repair, maintenance and upgrading of building fabric

Requirements:

Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent professional qualifications

Minimum 5 years working experience in Grade A commercial buildings

Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure

Fluent in spoken and written English

Good PC skills with hand-on experience in AutoCAD, MS Words, Excel etc.
