Business Analyst (AI Client Intelligence & Strategy) - Global Private Banking

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Analyst.

This role will support the design and delivery of AI-powered client intelligence and broader AI strategy for the private bank in Asia, working with front office, product, data and technology teams to turn use cases into adopted, measurable solutions that enhance client insight, advisor productivity and business performance.

In this role you will:

• Partner with business stakeholders (RMs, ICs, product, COO) to understand strategic priorities in client acquisition, deepening and risk management, and translate them into AI and analytics use cases for the private bank in Asia
• Capture, analyse and document detailed business requirements, customer journeys and current/future process flows for AI-enabled client intelligence tools, drafting epics and user stories and maintaining a clear product backlog
• Work with data, technlogy and vendor teams to shape feasible solution options, ensuring alignment to architecture, data governance and global AI strategy, and support design trade-offs across commercial, risk and delivery constraints
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives, from discovery and POC through pilot and production rollout, including test planning, UAT execution, defect management and readiness for front-office adoption
• Develop and maintain a portfolio view of AI use cases across the private bank, tracking benefits, risks, dependencies and status, and preparing regular management updates and steering materials
• Produce clear business documentation (BRDs, user stories, training materials, playbooks) and support training and change management so advisors and support staff can effectively use new AI capabilities.
• Monitor performance of deployed solutions through dashboards and MI, identify issues and optimisation opportunities, and feed insights back into the backlog to continuously improve models, data quality and user experience
• Ensure all AI initiatives comply with regulatory, data privacy, conduct and model risk standards, escalating issues and coordinating with Risk, Compliance and Legal as needed

To be successful you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data/technology or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications (e.g. CFA, FRM, analytics or product certifications) a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, product owner, strategy or consulting roles within wealth management, private banking or adjacent financial services
• Strong understanding of private banking/wealth management client journeys, products and core processes (onboarding, KYC, suitability, investment advisory, marketing and client servicing)
• Hands-on experience gathering requirements and supporting delivery for digital, data or AI/analytics initiatives, ideally using Agile methods (epics, user stories, backlog prioritisation, sprint ceremonies)
• Familiarity with modern AI concepts (LLMs, copilots, recommendation engines), data platforms and APIs, with the ability to bridge between business users and technical teams
