Business Analyst - Leading Brokerage Firm

Our client is an APAC leading brokerage firm with strong presence in traditional finance. They are now actively looking for talents to join their team as Business Analyst.

Responsibilities

1. Translate complex business objectives into comprehensive functional specifications for both internal and external digital ecosystems.
2. Act as the primary liaison between IT and operational departments to ensure seamless digital integration and cross-unit alignment.
3. Spearhead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for securities, futures, and options trading environments.
4. Oversee the end-to-end UAT process, coordinating closely with technical teams and dedicated testers.
5. Architect robust test plans and cases, ensuring rigorous validation of all system updates.
6. Lead system training initiatives and curate comprehensive user manuals to empower internal stakeholders.
7. Direct the daily operational health and maintenance of the core trading infrastructure.
8. Govern web content accuracy, ensuring all digital platforms are updated and compliant.
9. Serve as a subject matter expert for electronic trading platforms, resolving user inquiries and providing high-level system support.
10. Execute high-impact ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

1. Holder of a University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2. Ideally 3+ years of professional experience within the securities or financial services sector.
3. Prior exposure to wealth management solutions is highly regarded.
4. Proven proficiency in navigating both Agile and Waterfall project frameworks.
5. Sophisticated project management capabilities with a track record of balancing competing priorities.
6. A proactive, self-starting professional with sharp analytical instincts and the ability to work autonomously.
7. Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at every level.
8. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Azure DevOps or environment tools.
9. Command of professional English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
