Job Description - Business Data Manager (Actuarial background) - Hedge Fund

Your new company

A rapidly expanding, high-performing hedge fund is seeking a Business Data Manager with an actuary background to join its team. This role is ideal for high-performing actuarial students who have made strong progress through professional examinations to join a growing business team in a data-focused, quantitative role.

Your new role

Analyse and proactively monitor investor assets, flows, returns, fees, and strategy capacity across multiple funds and clients, including performance measurement and attribution analysis.
Work with a range of risk and analytical models, including industry-standard platforms and proprietary methodologies.
Support the data-driven components of business and marketing materials, such as performance reports.
Present data and insights in a way that enhances client understanding and engagement.
Represent the organisation professionally in communications with internal stakeholders, existing and prospective clients, and external partners.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree or above.
3-5 years' experience in investment consulting, securities, asset management, or data analytics.
Strong Excel, numerical, and analytical skills; statistical knowledge is an advantage.
Actuarial training.
Native-level spoken and written English.
