Business Development (Gaming/Entertainment)

I am seeking a Business Development Lead for my client, a leading fintech in the Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with senior-level stakeholders and key industry partners/merchants to foster cross-sector collaboration and enhance payment penetration growth.
  • Monitor the dynamics of the Hong Kong payment market and competitive landscape. Adapt strategies swiftly to drive mutual payment growth with online merchants and meet sales targets.
  •  Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while leading initiatives to expand our market presence. Utilize your expertise in digital entertainment, including app stores, OTT platforms, and gaming.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in business development within the digital entertainment sector, focusing on app stores, OTT, and gaming platforms.
  • Exhibit strong expertise in managing key account relationships, showcasing a successful track record in scaling performance.
  • Familiarity with product and operational aspects is a plus, though not mandatory.

Requirements:

• • Cantonese is MANDATORY
  • 10 years of experience in business development or sales, with a demonstrated ability to scale account performance from 1 to N
  • Experienced in fostering merchant growth and supporting industry expansion
  • Shows a proven history of managing account performance, is proficient with client management tools, and utilizes data analysis skills to proactively identify performance challenges, conduct in-depth cause analysis, and implement effective solutions
