Our banking services and products are bespoke, ranging from tailored investment advice and capital solutions to holistic health and personal protection and trustee services. Our team offers professional wealth management advice at both a local level and on a global scale.
Should you join our Private Banking business, you will focus on building close relationship with our high-net-worth customers, providing professional advice and premium service to them and contribute to the profitability of the Bank.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Development Manager, reporting to Head of Business Development.

Principal responsibilities

• Lead and design customer lifecycle journey and strategies across lead generation, acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention and exit stages
• Be the centre of excellence to familiarize with retail counterparts on branch network, card, digital initiatives and secure support to cater for frontline needs
• Stay up-to-date with bank-wide initiatives and translate into actionable talking points to frontlines, enhancing overall business potential
• Support the formulation, execution and evaluation of business development initiatives (e.g. client event, cross line of business collaboration) to seize new business opportunities and expand customer base locally and across the Greater Bay area
• Be the people champion and lead the staff initiatives for PB, covering employee engagement, recognition and wellbeing, conduct culture, staff survey, departmental activities

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing OR other relevant qualifications
• Proven banking experience and familiar with frontline operation/ dealing with frontline teams
• Strong project management skills and be able to set and track measurable business outcomes
• Solid knowledge in client onboarding process in PB context will be an advantage
• Proven experience in customer experience and lifecycle management
• Highly motivated, fast-paced, and possession of strong interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-centric and passionate for employee experience
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
