Job Description - Business Support Manager (Private Bank ARM team lead)

Our client is a leading private bank in Hong Kong. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) and ensure quality client service, smooth operations, and strong compliance standards. Responsibilities

Lead, train, and provide day-to-day guidance to a team of ARMs
Coordinate team resourcing and backup arrangements
Ensure quality client service and timely resolution of service and operational issues
Support trade booking and settlement, account documentation, payments, and securities transfers
Participate in system testing, process improvements, and ad-hoc projects
Work with frontline, KYC, and operations teams in Hong Kong resolve outstanding matters
Ensure compliance with operational risk policies, sales procedures, and internal guidelines
Oversee name screening, ongoing reviews, client documentation, and related compliance trackers
Review general expenses and business-trip requests, ensuring proper approval and audit trails

Requirements

Minimum 7 years’ experience as an ARM or Business Manager in Private banking
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
Familiar with trade settlement, account opening, payments, and securities transfers
Strong organisational, client-servicing, communication, and multitasking skills
Fluent in Cantonese is required; Proficiency in spoken English and Mandarin
