Job Description - Buying Manager / Assistant Buying Manager

Job Descriptions:

  • Formulate buy plans and OTB plans to achieve the company business objectives. 
  • Implementing merchandise selection and assortment.
  • Formulate the sales forecast, OTB budget and drive the buying activities in accordance with Company’s strategies.
  • Monitor merchandise flow to achieve sales, profit and inventory target.
  • Stock Management processes including allocation, replenishment and consolidation.
  • Maintain constructive relationship with suppliers for business development.
  • Prepare regular reports to analyse and review sales performance and inventory level.
  • Analyse market trend and competitors and make recommendation for improvement.
  • Execute product training to ensure competent product knowledge of frontline staffs.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, fashion or related field disciplines.
  • 8 -10 years solid buying experience with at least 2 - 3 years of managerial experience gained from womenswear or menswear retail.
  • Experienced in multi-brand retailer is a must.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong sense in market trends with fashion vision suitable for kapok
  • Excellent analytical, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight schedules.
  • Self motivated, well organized and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Overseas travel is required.
  • Immediate availability is preferred. 

**Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position as Assistant Buying Manager**
