Job Description - C# Developer - iBank (Contract) - HKD 60k

About the Client

Our client is a prominent investment bank with a strong regional presence in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a C# Developer for middle office application.

It would be a 12 months extendable contract.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and support of in-house middle-office and front-office systems, ensuring high-performance interfaces for the firm's core trading operations.
Perform full-cycle system analysis and implementation for new application enhancements, including the management of Excel-based tools for Equity Research departments.
Execute comprehensive unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure system stability in accordance with stringent functional requirements.
Collaborate with first-line support and internal infrastructure teams to provide rapid second-line troubleshooting and resolution for technical issues.
Conduct technical feasibility studies and impact assessments for new system solutions, providing clear recommendations to business stakeholders.
Oversee the automation of deployment and release processes to improve operational efficiency and system reliability across regional offices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the investment banking or securities trading industry, with specific exposure to middle/back-office system support.
Strong hands-on proficiency in C# development, combined with experience in Linux, Shell Scripting, and Excel VBA.
Solid command of SQL Server and database design; experience with SSIS or Python is a significant advantage.
Proven knowledge of equity trading operations and familiarity with financial data platforms like Bloomberg or Reuters.
Excellent analytical and communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
