C++ Software Engineer

Yue Kun Research is currently seeking a talented C++ Software Engineer to join our Low Latency Development team in Hong Kong. As a leading market maker of derivative products on the HKEX, technology is critical to our success and the realization of our trading strategies.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing various components for our in-house trading systems. Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and implementing low latency exchange connectivity components and trading algorithms (quoting, hedging, and arbitrage).

- Designing and implementing C++ applications for core trading infrastructure.

- Designing and implementing systems monitoring, risk analysis, and data analytics tools

- Collaborating with quants and traders to define algorithmic behaviour

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

- Solid academic background in computer science or a related field

- 4+ years of C++ server-side development on Linux

- A solid understanding of multithreading, network socket programming, and low latency techniques

- Experience in python and data analysis tools is highly valued

- Experience in automated trading systems or exchange connectivity is highly valued

- Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks
