Support daily card operations and settlement activities, including transaction processing, reconciliation, exception handling and end‑of‑day checks.
Monitor card transactions, identify irregularities and follow up on breaks to ensure timely and accurate settlement.
Assist in process enhancement initiatives across card products, clearing & settlement, reporting and operational workflows.
Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather, analyse and document business requirements for system enhancements or issue resolution.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for card system enhancements:
Prepare and update operational reports, workflow documentation and analysis materials for management review.
Handle customer enquiries (including inbound calls from bank customers) with professionalism, ensuring clear communication and a positive service experience.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external partners and vendors to support accurate settlement and timely issue resolution.
Identify and escalate operational or system issues, proposing improvement suggestions to enhance control and efficiency.
Perform duties according to operational needs, which may include shift work, weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and public holidays.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in banking operations, business analysis or customer service; exposure to card operations, settlement or payment processing is preferred.
Solid understanding of credit/debit card operations, clearing & settlement workflows and operational controls; knowledge of regulatory requirements is an advantage.
Experience handling customer enquiries via phone or email with a customer‑centric and professional approach.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail and a risk‑aware mindset.
Hands‑on experience in UAT execution, reporting and process documentation is highly preferred.
Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis); familiarity with other reporting or analytical tools is a plus.
Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with operations, IT and project teams.
Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn; flexible to support shift duties, weekends and public holidays when required.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese); Putonghua is an advantage.
